We are dedicated to creating a significant impact for our employees by fostering a culture that sparks innovation and supports professional and personal growth along the way.

Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Cloud (Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure) Engineer/Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and administration of infrastructure, services, projects, and related resources across the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, alongside some administration of Google Workspace. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our multi-cloud and collaboration environments

Responsibilities

Multi-Cloud Platform Administration (GCP, AWS, Azure):

  • Manage and administer cloud projects/accounts (GCP projects, AWS accounts, Azure subscriptions), including creation, configuration, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of various cloud services across GCP, AWS, and Azure (e.g., Compute, Storage, Database, Networking, Containerization services).
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across all three clouds, including IAM, network security, and data encryption.
  • Monitor cloud resource usage, identify cost optimization opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements across all cloud providers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

Specific Cloud Platform Responsibilities:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP):

  • Oversee services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Implement and manage security using Google Cloud IAM, VPC, and firewall rules.
  • Establish a secure cloud landing zone to optimize the organization's utilization of cloud resources.

Amazon Web Services (AWS):

  • Oversee services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
  • Implement and manage security using AWS IAM, Security Groups, and NACLs.

Microsoft Azure:

  • Oversee services such as Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Implement and manage security using Azure AD, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Policy.

Google Workspace Administration:

  • Manage Google Workspace groups and associated access permissions.
  • Configure and maintain log exports (log pumps) to BigQuery for comprehensive analysis.
  • Establish connections to Google Cloud's Security Command Center to enhance the security posture of the Workspace environment.

Cloud Adoption Strategy:

  • The ability to align multi-cloud deployment with the larger Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and a clear business case for moving workloads.
  • Manage the overall setup and configuration of cloud landing zones (e.g., GCP SLZ, AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zones).

Product and Sandbox Management:

  • Administer and support various applications integrated with GCP, AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace.
  • Manage and maintain sandbox environments for development, testing, and experimentation across all clouds.
  • Ensure proper access control and resource allocation for sandbox users.

Automation and Scripting:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform) for routine multi-cloud and Workspace operations and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to manage and deploy resources consistently across GCP, AWS, and Azure.

Network Segmentation:

  • Implement strong network segmentation using native cloud networking tools (VPCs, subnets, VNet, firewall rules, Security Groups, NSGs) to isolate different environments and workloads.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

  • Establish a robust cross-cloud IAM strategy with granular permissions, principle of least privilege, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all access, leveraging native cloud IAM roles/policies and central identity solutions.

Monitoring and Alerting:

  • Set up and manage monitoring tools and dashboards for multi-cloud infrastructure and applications, as well as Google Workspace, utilizing services like Cloud Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
  • Configure alerts and notifications for critical events and performance thresholds.

Logging and Auditing:

  • Configure comprehensive logging and monitoring capabilities using native cloud services (Cloud Logging, AWS CloudTrail/Config, Azure Monitor/Sentinel) to capture all activities, security events, and resource utilization for proactive threat detection and compliance auditing.

Security Services Integration:

  • Integrate native cloud security services (e.g., Security Command Center, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center/Defender for Cloud) to enhance threat protection, vulnerability management, and real-time anomaly detection.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for multi-cloud and Workspace architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud and collaboration solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on GCP, AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Multi-Cloud Engineer/Administrator or similar role, with expertise in GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Proven experience in administering Google Workspace.
  • Proven experience in establishing, maintaining, and managing cloud billing accounts, cloud spends, and overall financials across multiple cloud providers, ensuring strict adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP, AWS, and Azure services and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VNet, VPN, Load Balancing) in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) in GCP, AWS, and Azure, and user management in Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Proficiency in executing the core Terraform workflow for multi-cloud resource provisioning.
  • Expertise in managing Terraform state, including local and remote backends, state locking, and handling sensitive data.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, AKS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect/SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate/Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Google Workspace certification (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator).
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of database administration on multiple clouds (e.g., Cloud SQL, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
  • Experience with big data technologies on multiple clouds (e.g., BigQuery, AWS EMR/Redshift, Azure Synapse/HDInsight).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
