Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for coordinating an entire carry out station and communicating with the kitchen personnel to provide an exceptional dining experience to our carry out guests. To Go Team Members will welcome guests to the restaurant, take phone orders, help guests find menu choices, ensure accuracy of all orders, packs orders, assist with third party delivery orders, and respond to guests needs in a prompt and friendly manner.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Greet To Go guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience. 

• Take phone, online, and third-party delivery orders accurately and enter them into the POS system in a timely manner. 

• Assist guests with menu selections and provide information regarding menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens. 

• Provide accurate estimated pickup times and communicate any delays or changes to guests as needed. 

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Package food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all items, condiments, utensils, and requested additions are included. 

• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before providing them to guests or third-party delivery drivers. 

• Prepare and organize catering orders, ensuring all food, beverages, and necessary supplies are included. 

• Process cash, credit card, gift card, coupon, and other transactions accurately and efficiently. 

• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly and professionally. 

• Maintain a clean and organized To Go station, including stocking supplies, condiments, sauce bottles, and packaging materials. 

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, managers, and other Team Members to ensure efficient service during peak periods. 

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation standards. 

• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu, including seasonal or limited-time offerings. 

• Assist with cleaning duties, restocking, and maintaining the organization of the To Go area. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Neat and well-groomed appearance in company-approved uniform. 

• Proficient in operating POS computer systems and accurately handling transactions. 

• Ability to read and understand menu items. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and Team Members. 

• Excellent phone skills with the ability to clearly communicate with guests and accurately take orders. 

• Ability to hear and respond to phone calls and guest requests in an environment with background noise. 

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. 

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain order accuracy. 

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during busy shifts. 

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. 

Work Environment: 

This position involves working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment. To Go Team Members will be exposed to noise, varying temperatures, and food-related hazards. The role requires frequent communication with guests and Team Members and may involve handling multiple phones, online, catering, and third-party delivery orders at the same time. 

Physical Essential Functions: 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours). 

• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching package orders, stock supplies, and performing cleaning duties. 

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. 

• Repeated use of hands and arms to package food, carry orders and supplies, operate the POS system, and assist with cleaning tasks. 

• Ability to carry trays, To Go orders, catering orders, and restaurant supplies as needed. 

• Tolerance of a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
