WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  
The Global Web Manager is responsible for developing and executing the strategic roadmap for all brand websites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital best practices. This role leads the management and continuous improvement of existing and new websites, overseeing both internal and external development teams, and directly managing a team of web content specialists. The Global Web Manager will drive website performance, user experience, and operational excellence across a global digital ecosystem. Additionally, you will: 
  • Website Strategy & Roadmap
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for all brand websites, ensuring alignment with business goals and digital strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for new website launches, redesigns, and enhancements to support growth and innovation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define website objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Website Operations & Development
    • Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of all brand websites, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
    • Coordinate the development and deployment of new websites and features, managing project timelines, requirements, and quality assurance.
    • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines, governance, and compliance standards across all digital properties.
  • Content Management
    • Supervise the creation, editing, and publishing of website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and SEO best practices.
    • Implement workflows and processes for content updates, localization, and digital asset management.
    • Drive continuous improvement in content quality, user experience, and engagement.
  • Analytics & Optimization
    • Monitor website analytics, user behavior, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Establish and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization.
    • Lead A/B testing, conversion optimization, and SEO initiatives to maximize website effectiveness.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on website performance and project status to leadership.
  • Accessibility
    • Ensure all websites meet or exceed accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1), providing an inclusive digital experience for all users.
    • Partner with design, development, and content teams to implement accessible features and conduct regular audits for compliance.
    • Stay current with accessibility regulations and best practices, and drive continuous improvement in this area.
  • Cookie Management & Privacy
    • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of cookie consent solutions and privacy banners in compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
    • Collaborate with legal and IT teams to ensure proper data collection, storage, and user consent processes are in place.
    • Monitor changes in privacy laws and update website practices and documentation accordingly.
  • Personalization
    • Lead the development and deployment of website personalization strategies to enhance user engagement and conversion.
    • Work with analytics, marketing, and product teams to define audience segments and deliver targeted content and experiences.
    • Evaluate and implement personalization tools and technologies, ensuring alignment with privacy and data protection standards.
  • Frontend Development
    • Lead and oversee all frontend development activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces across all brand websites.
    • Collaborate with design and UX/UI teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions for enhanced user experience.
  • DevOps
    • Manage the team responsible for the DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure as code, to ensure efficient and reliable website operations.
    • Work closely with IT and development teams to maintain robust, scalable, and secure hosting environments.
  • Quality Assurance (QA)
    • Establish and enforce QA standards and processes for website releases, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
    • Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to ensure website functionality, performance, and security meet organizational standards.
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of web content specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
    • Manage relationships with internal teams (IT, marketing, product, regional leads) and external partners (agencies, vendors, developers) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Oversee resource allocation, project prioritization, and performance management for all web-related initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Enablement:
    • Gather enhancement requests, develop training materials, and create guidelines for new users.
    • Participate in cross-functional governance boards to evolve standards and address gaps.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work cross-functionally with marketing, IT, product, and regional teams to ensure website initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with company goals.
WHAT WE SEEK
  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, multi-brand, or multinational websites.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Drupal, Contentful, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Product Information Management (PIM) systems (e.g., Salsify, inRiver) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms (e.g., Bynder).
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, CMS platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), SEO, and UX/UI best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in accessibility, cookie management, and website personalization.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and drive consensus across complex global organizations.
  • Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Availability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time. 
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
