Position Summary
The Global Technical Learning Manager will lead the development and execution of technical learning programs that enhance employee capability, accelerate onboarding, and support continuous professional growth across the organization. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and HR teams to build scalable learning solutions that drive technical excellence, organizational effectiveness, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global technical learning strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce development needs.
- Design and manage onboarding, technical training, certification, and continuous learning programs.
- Create role-based learning pathways for Engineering, Operations, Field Service, Customer Success, and other technical functions.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and continuously improve technical training content and curricula.
- Manage learning platforms, knowledge repositories, and training resources to ensure accessibility and effectiveness.
- Measure training effectiveness through performance metrics, learner feedback, competency assessments, and business outcomes.
- Identify skill and capability gaps and recommend learning solutions that support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across global teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Education or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in technical learning, training, enablement, or workforce development.
- Proven experience developing and delivering learning programs within a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern learning technologies.
- Excellent project management, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), knowledge management platforms, and digital learning tools preferred.
- Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
