Global Supply Chain Manager - Vespel®

We are looking for a highly motivated Global Supply Chain Manager to lead the execution and evolution of our end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring seamless delivery to customers around the world while driving operational excellence, business growth, and long-term competitive advantage.

This is a high-visibility global leadership role with broad influence across sourcing, planning, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, technology, quality, EH&S, and business leadership. The role serves as a strategic business partner, translating business objectives into executable supply chain plans while shaping long-term operational priorities, strengthening resilience, optimizing cost and inventory performance, and building the capabilities required for future growth.

What You'll Do

As the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and executing the global supply chain strategy that supports customer satisfaction, operational performance, cost competitiveness, and business growth across the Vespel® global network.

You will lead initiatives that improve service, optimize inventory, reduce total delivered cost, strengthen governance and data integrity, and improve supply chain resilience while ensuring alignment with short-term, mid-term, and long-range business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy

· Develop, integrate, and execute global supply chain strategies that support business objectives, customer requirements, and growth plans.

· Translate business strategy into executable supply chain plans that drive service, productivity, resilience, and operational excellence.

· Balance customer service, inventory investment, and total cost-to-serve through effective planning and disciplined execution.

· Represent supply chain capabilities across short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning horizons.

· Serve as a key contributor in shaping business strategy, long-term operational priorities, and global competitiveness.

Lead Operational Excellence, Capacity, and Network Optimization

· Establish performance targets and monitor key supply chain metrics to drive continuous improvement and benchmark performance against industry best practices.

· Identify future capacity constraints and develop strategies to ensure long-term competitiveness, reliability, and customer support.

· Drive network optimization, supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and contingency planning across the global supply chain.

· Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and accelerate processes across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer delivery.

· Champion Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to accelerate performance improvements.

Optimize Cost, Inventory, and Financial Performance

· Lead efforts to optimize total delivered cost across sourcing, logistics, inventory, and manufacturing operations.

· Forecast, analyze, and improve key performance indicators including inventory levels, non-productive inventory, and distribution expenses.

· Maintain ownership of inventory plans spanning raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

· Partner closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Business Leadership to balance raw material supply, inventory, service, and cost performance.

Partner Across Functions and Lead Integrated Business Planning

· Serve as a key leader in the Integrated Business Planning process, including ownership of Supply Review activities.

· Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Quality, EH&S, and Business Leadership to align plans and priorities.

· Drive effective communication and integration of supply chain plans across the organization.

· Partner with digital, analytics, and planning teams to leverage SAP, APO, advanced planning systems, digital capabilities, analytics, and best-in-class supply chain tools.

Develop Teams, Governance, and Capabilities

· Lead, coach, and develop supply chain professionals while building organizational capability.

· Establish and institutionalize best practices across global supply chain processes.

· Ensure strong governance, data integrity, process discipline, and compliance with SOX requirements.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Deliver for the Customer

· Develop policies and processes that support reliable customer delivery performance.

· Collaborate with Demand Planning and Customer Service to establish order management strategies that align customer expectations with supply chain capabilities.

· Improve flexibility, service reliability, customer experience, and supply chain responsiveness across the global network.

Lead Change and Transformation

· Act as a catalyst for transformation by identifying innovative solutions and driving sustainable change.

· Lead strategic projects and business transformation initiatives that enhance supply chain performance, customer experience, and organizational effectiveness.

· Promote a culture that embraces innovation while aligning with DuPont's core values of Safety, Respect for People, Integrity, and Sustainability.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

· 10+ years of supply chain, operations, manufacturing, industrial operations, or related experience.

· Previous people leadership experience with a track record of building and developing teams.

· Demonstrated experience managing complex supply chain networks and driving business results.

· Strong business acumen with exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and drive results in complex global environments.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience leading or working within global supply chain organizations and cross-cultural teams.

· Experience within process manufacturing, advanced materials, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing environments.

· Experience participating in Integrated Business Planning processes and supply chain transformation initiatives.

· APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP, or willingness to obtain certification within an agreed timeframe.

· Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification and experience.

· Knowledge of SAP, APO, advanced planning systems, digital capabilities, analytics, and related supply chain technologies.

· Proven success leading business transformation and change management initiatives.

· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.

· Strong executive communication, networking, and influencing capabilities.
