Lyft’s San Francisco team is expanding, and we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Intern to assist with the execution of Hardware Supply Chain strategies. In this role, you will support the Supply Chain team in sourcing key product components and services for the Lyft Urban Solutions division, which includes bikes, scooters, and stations. You will help shape the strategy and play an active role in the execution needed to bring these products to market. Your work will involve conducting industry research and collaborating with strategic suppliers on agreements, pricing, and supplier management. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, and Product Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on assigned product categories to assess market trends, cost structures, and competitive dynamics
  • Assist in managing key supplier relationships to help drive competitive advantage
  • Support the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process with suppliers
  • Analyze Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) factors, including product cost, transportation, inventory, and quality
  • Use data analytics to inform and guide strategic business decisions

Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (with a focus on Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics preferred), with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and Summer 2026 (required)
  • Available during Summer 2025 for the internship
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $36 - $42 per hour. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
