GLOBAL SENIOR TRADE MARKETING MANAGER - CALVIN KLEIN FRAGRANCES

NEW YORK CITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Sr. Trade Marketing Manager to join the Global Calvin Klein team, reporting to the Global Trade Marketing Director Calvin Klein. You will strongly collaborate with the VP Trade Marketing, as well as key stakeholders including the license, global brand and cross-functional teams, and managing the relationship with the markets.

Along with the Global Director Trade Marketing, the Global Sr. Trade Marketing Manager Calvin Klein will play a key role in providing strategic commercial guidance to deliver projected Net Revenues growth and Market Share gain worldwide; and to lead and evolve the brands' presence globally, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the business.

The Sr. Trade Marketing Manager will work with the markets to deliver robust, innovative, on-brand and high-quality launch and activations programs.

The Sr. Trade Marketing Manager is a well-rounded commercial / marketing professional with experience in the fragrance industry. Background in selective distribution and license experience is preferred.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining winning line-up, initiative sizing and right price positioning with the help of lifecycle management (supply) and brand teams
  • Being the voice of brand and marketing partner for the markets, support brand growth, contribute to strategic marketing plans definition and implementation in the markets
  • Ensure that needs of the regions/markets are perfectly captured, consolidated, and integrated in the global brand toolkits
  • Co-define commercial guidelines and ensure that defined strategy is well implemented (OGSM / product / distribution / price / promo / media)
  • Management of assortment strategy
  • Consolidate, review and challenge market trade plans, monitoring results, providing key learning and recommendations
  • Be the interface between global marketing and markets to ensure promotional support (gift sets, gifts with purchase, products with purchase) is aligned with market needs and drive program sizing
  • Lead commercial readiness to ensure respect of the timelines to achieve maximum launch success
  • Provide overview of brand overall performance in regions and define white space / opportunities
  • Regularly present topline executive business reviews to brand leadership team
  • Support the 3Y strategic plan development in ensuring right level of brand A&CP model, launch innovation rate and commercial initiatives partnering with trade and brand VPs / Directors and 360 teams
  • Support the license business updates: monthly brand performance and 3Y net sales projections
  • Manage overall Calvin Klein boutiques fragrance sales management & process with the license

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • 4 year undergraduate degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 6+ years related trade/marketing experience in marketing
  • Prestige/luxury brand and license experience preferred
  • Must be autonomous, decisive, with strategic thinking
  • Must have the potential to assume increased responsibility
  • Foster best practice thinking
  • Must be able to challenge the status quo
  • Must have ability to manage complexity
  • Must have good business acumen and be results/success oriented
  • Must be strategic and analytical
  • Must be an excellent team player; possessing the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional, affiliate teams, the license, and markets/regions
  • Must be able to lead by influence
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
