About the Role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President, Global Proposal Manager to run the end-to-end proposal process for opportunities in the US, Canada, EMEA, APAC, and other global locations directly supporting iCapital’s growth. This role will lead the management and centralization of the company’s RFP and proposal process and will oversee the submission of all proposals globally, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, coordination internally, and high standards of written content. This individual will develop and build a global response team that will work cross-functionally with Business Development, Legal, Compliance, Finance, InfoSec, Product, and other subject matter experts. The ideal candidate has extensive proposal experience in the financial services industry with an excellent understanding of, and ability to apply proposal management best practices globally.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a global team that will oversee the company’s responses to RFPs and proposals from start to submission, including the development of project plans and strategies and the drafting of content ensuring all content meets quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Drive a scalable and repeatable RFP process including knowledge database management, message writing, data collection, content synthesis, timeline management, approvals process, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with business development, legal, finance, product, and other subject matter experts, to gather information, develop solution strategies, and craft compelling responses tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Oversee the review and updating of standard materials and best practices.
  • Utilize Responsive/RFPIO platform to manage and organize proposal content effectively.
  • Conduct RFP win/loss analysis, gather client feedback, and identify and report on areas to improve client targeting efforts and win rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, 10+ years of directly related experience managing and writing winning competitive proposals in a defined proposal role
  • Experience developing and building a high performing proposal team
  • Fluency with RFP software, preferably Responsive/RFPio
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex RFP responses from inception to submission, resulting in wins and revenue growth
  • Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling manner
  • Excellent project management skills and able to coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
