The Global Program Director is responsible for providing operational leadership across the global account in an effort to increase overall effectiveness and efficiency for both the client and wider business. The GPD partners with senior client stakeholders on agreed operational programs, ensures global delivery excellence, takes accountability for gross margin targets and supports the Global Client MD facilitating growth. They help formulate client operational strategy, build global policies and processes to the nuances of the different markets and are ultimately accountable for operational excellence on the account.

JOB DUTIES

We are launching a large global client engagement requiring an expert in operational leadership. We are looking for an experienced Global Program Director to help make this possible by ensuring we meet key KPIs as the engagement ramps.

• Partnering with the Global Client MD to support on all client and internal operational matters related to the successful delivery of work globally

• Responsible for organization of the workforce across the account globally to ensure delivery runs smoothly, end to end from scoping, work authorization, resourcing, production, invoicing and collections

• Owning the regular operational and financial reporting to internal and client stakeholders

• Ultimately responsible for billing success across the account. Acts as escalation point for late billing, missing PO’s and cash flow challenges

• Ensuring new challenges and requirements are fully understood and owning solution development as the engagement evolves

• Accountable for the successful delivery of all work produced in offshore centers

• Acts as escalation point on all delivery and operational matters across the account

• Partnering with Tag’s tech team to own governance and compliance to the accounts technology requirements

• Responsible for design and implementation of new ways of working/processes

• Continuously reviewing and optimizing ways of working (WoW).

• Responsible for staffing alignment. Including financial and skills allocations across global footprint

• Accountable for timesheet accuracy on all billable resource

• Provides oversight on all hiring decisions and responsible for minimizing margin dilutive freelancer spend

• Dotted line management of all delivery personnel across the account e.g. project managers

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 15+ years of agency experience.

• 10+ years of global program/project management experience.

• Tactically minded with proven ability to work effectively with globally distributed creative and production teams, able to interpret client specifications and direct teams to deliver on time, on budget and with the highest quality

• Demonstrable experience delivering work within sold margins

• Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project/account team, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role

• Experience of working on highly automated production engagements

• Experience working in Adobe environments critical

• Creative, digitally and technically-minded in nature

• Experience of working with a tech client is preferable

• 8+ years of client facing experience where you are often the most senior member of the agency

• Commercially astute with 8+ years of both contract and financial experience.

The salary range for this position is $180k minimum - $182k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
