Indirect Procurement Analyst

A successful candidate will be adept at analyzing data and developing insights. As the Indirect Procurement Analyst will work on several different initiatives simultaneously, this individual will need to demonstrate strong personal organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. The preferred candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and personal organizational skills to support the Indirect Procurement group. Strong relationship skills and the ability to communicate with all levels will help this person to be successful in the role.
The Analyst will be a centralized resource responsible for supporting general Procurement administration and operations, with primary emphasis on SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract and Buying/Invoice modules, analytics, reporting/metrics, and Procurement team enablement. The Analyst would work in Ariba, PowerBI, and SAP to develop reporting for Indirect Procurement.
This is a hybrid role and must be onsite at our Milford, MA location on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities- Ariba Sourcing & Contracting
- Manage/administer the daily workflow in the Ariba Sourcing and Contracts modules
- Ensure contract documents are executed in a timely manner
- Enter and manage RFx events within the Ariba tool
- Train members of Waters on the module and field questions as they arise
- Spend Visibility & Analytics
- Master use of indirect procurement spend visibility tools such as PowerBI and Ariba Spend Analytics Module from SAP
- Produce various ad hoc reporting for Global Procurement management team such as a monthly report of actual and forecasted savings
- Assist in RFx Processes for Global Procurement
- Collaborate with Procurement team members to streamline and assist in various RFx events
- Provide updates (via trackers, emails, etc.) to key stakeholders through RFx events
- Create documentation, pricing comparison, and other files as needed for internal stakeholder and/or site review
- Knowledge Management
- Support Procurement tools and templates and intellectual capital, with an interest in advancing the team’s resources and knowledge base
- Document and communicate information/data needs and standards
- Provide analysis and input as required to support the Procurement team’s strategic sourcing events, supplier negotiations, supply market research, and other strategic sourcing activities
- Execute other procurement-related special projects as needed
- Partner with cross functional teams including but not limited to Operations, Legal and Finance
- Effectively communicate issues, actions and strategies to leadership
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related area of Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Management preferred
- Required Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, consulting, operations, supply chain or finance
- RFx experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa or any other procurement tool
- Knowledge of PowerBI and other data analytics tools
- Solid experience with all Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet
- Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
