Job Description
 

Role Overview

The Global Pricing & Analytics Director is responsible for driving pricing excellence across the Kite V&A portfolio, including CAR T brands, future assets, and pipeline products. This role combines strategic pricing leadership, advanced analytics, and operational oversight to ensure robust pricing governance and value-maximising business decisions globally. The Director will collaborate extensively across functions and geographies, championing innovation, inclusion, and best practices in pricing.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Pricing & Analytics

  • Lead the development and execution of global pricing strategies for Kite’s CAR T brands, future assets, and pipeline products.

  • Partner with Global V&A TA leads, US Market Access, and Regional Execution teams to conduct market research, pre-launch pricing studies, and competitive benchmarking.

  • Develop and deliver profitability models, launch sequence optimisation, and global pricing policies.

  • Coordinate long-range planning and forecasting, aligning pricing assumptions across key countries and regions.

  • Integrate advanced analytics and reporting, leveraging BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) to streamline, automate, and build pricing analytics capabilities for global stakeholders.

Operational Pricing Excellence

  • Monitor and track global price trends, including International Reference Pricing analysis and implications of major regulatory changes.

  • Manage price governance processes, ensuring accuracy in the PriceRight tracker and adherence to global pricing guidelines.

  • Guide review of country pricing proposals, supporting preparation of robust business cases for timely decision-making.

  • Coordinate Price Horizon Scanning and reporting, capturing and triaging data from local teams for global visibility.

  • Support enhancement of pricing management systems, including design, testing, implementation, and training.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with finance, business analytics, and Gilead Value & Access partners to import best practices and drive pricing excellence.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Strategic Marketing, IT, Global Competition Law, and third-party data providers (NAVLIN, MIDAS, DRG).

  • Lead stretch projects and assignments related to analytics and pricing strategy optimisation.

  • Foster an environment of inclusion, talent development, and innovation, modelling Gilead’s values of integrity, teamwork, and accountability.

Key Requirements

  • Deep expertise in pricing regulations, payer systems, and market archetypes across priority countries and regions.

  • Proven ability to track and assess implications of global pricing reforms and regulatory changes.

  • Advanced skills in price modelling, financial planning, forecasting, and demand planning.

  • Experience with pricing analytics, competitive intelligence, and use of third-party data tools.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; expert-level Excel and BI tool proficiency.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex data and recommendations to senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of engaging cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Health Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Health Policy, or related quantitative field (preferred).

  • Prior experience in oncology, gene/cell therapy pricing, or pharmaceutical industry (strongly preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with third-party data tools such as NAVLIN, MIDAS, DRG, SSR, Analysource.

  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and pricing regulations in key global markets (US, UK, EU4, Canada, Japan, ACE MM region).

  • Strategic data and analytical skills, including expert-level Excel and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).

  • Ability to synthesise, critically analyse, and efficiently communicate large volumes of information, identify risks, and develop recommendations.

  • Demonstrated professional track record of values that are core to Kite/Gilead: integrity, inclusion, teamwork, excellence, accountability.
