Job Description:

As a Global Portfolio Manager in Electronics Bonding, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading and executing the global portfolio strategy for the liquid adhesive category of products sold through the electronics bonding value chain
  • Define the go-to, globally relevant, country/customer specific and improve/fix products as well as specific actions to drive market relevance and increase market share, including PIPO
  • Develops, implements and maintains global pricing corridors for the liquid adhesive product category within 6100 Profit Center
  • Collaborates with area portfolio leaders in key regions including Greater China Area, Asia, USAC and EMEA to drive best practice replication and growth
  • Leads and supports the new product commercialization process for prioritized programs and drives execution with a global, cross-functional team
  • Own and is accountable for all Global Material Master Data for the portfolio in legacy systems, SAP, e-commerce and channel
  • Champion’s prioritization and resolution of global SOS issues impacting key accounts
  • Primary Metrics:
  • Sales growth and OLCG%
  • Gross margin
  • Market share and device penetration growth
  • Marketing program execution & impact (MROI %)
  • Secondary Metrics:
  • Phase in/phase out metrics
  • Master data update

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum [three] years of global marketing and/or business development experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration
  • Demonstrated results in portfolio, pricing and marketing management
  • Experience working with global teams and across functions, geographies and time zones
  • Customer focused thinking and proven success gathering key insights from OEM customers
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically and to navigate complex situations
  • Clear demonstration of innovation, a passion to win and willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with global team
  • Ability to speak Mandarin, English and multiple languages

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
