 Purpose of the role

This role sits within dentsu’s Strategic Partner Innovation team, part of Global Partnerships and Integrated Solutions, and acts as the strategic bridge between enterprise technology partners, dentsu’s product ecosystem and client demand. The role is responsible for identifying, shaping and commercialising product, capability and solution opportunities across key enterprise partners, including Amazon, Google and Meta.


Working cross-practice with Data & Technology, Product and specialist practitioners, the role will connect partner product roadmaps with client needs and dentsu’s global product development strategy, leading the mobilisation of globally scalable capabilities and new IP that support dentsu’s Media++ strategy, enhance client experiences and drive material commercial growth.


The role requires deep knowledge of commerce, the Amazon and Google ecosystems (cloud / media) and their underlying capabilities, alongside a strong understanding of the broader media partner landscape. It will play a central role in developing the integrated solutions and capabilities that enable dentsu to win in the algorithmic era.


The role reports to the Senior Director, Global Partnerships and Solutions and can be based in London or Manchester, operating under hybrid working arrangements.

 What you'll do 
  • Own the product and partnership strategies for key enterprise partners, developing a holistic view of product and capability opportunities with depth across Amazon, Google and their commerce, media, data and cloud ecosystems.
  • Work closely with Global Practice Leads, client leadership and media/product specialists to identify, shape and mobilise capability, solution and product development opportunities.
  • Connect partner product roadmaps, emerging capabilities and strategic priorities with client needs and dentsu’s global product strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with enterprise platform partners, markets and internal stakeholders, creating the executive alignment and joint commitment required to progress shared opportunities.
  • Translate changes in platform strategy, client needs and market dynamics into differentiated products, integrated solutions and scalable capabilities.
  • Develop compelling product propositions, business cases and commercial pathways that create value for dentsu, its clients and platform partners.
  • Explore emerging opportunities across commerce, retail media, cloud, AI, AdTech, MarTech, measurement and automation, helping dentsu move early where there is potential to innovate or create new value.
  • Bring deep expertise across Amazon and Google while considering Meta, the broader enterprise partner landscape and the technologies and platforms shaping future client needs.
  • Connect strategic partnership opportunities with clear product roadmaps and commercial delivery models, working with teams across Product, Commercial, D&T and Legal to establish outcomes, scope, responsibilities and routes to delivery.
  • Provide partner, client and capability direction throughout product design and development, ensuring new capabilities enhance dentsu.Connect 4.0 and deliver the Media++ strategy.
  • Maintain senior oversight of delivery commitments, dependencies, risks and escalations, sustaining partner confidence and commercial value.
  • Drive the adoption, scaling and commercialisation of new products and capabilities, demonstrating client impact and commercial value.

  • Mobilise partners, senior internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams around clear propositions, outcomes and delivery plans.
  • Build sustained senior partner commitment and confidence through strong relationships, effective governance and successful delivery.
  • Drive the global adoption, scaling and commercialisation of new products and capabilities across clients, markets and Lines of Business.
  • Demonstrate measurable client impact, commercial value and continued relevance against changing market and technology needs.
  • Maintain visibility of delivery commitments, dependencies and risks, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and opportunities retain momentum.
 What you'll bringEssential skills 
  • Significant experience in media activation, strategic partnerships and advertising technology across key enterprise media partners.
  • Deep knowledge of the Amazon and Google ecosystems across advertising, media, commerce and retail, including Amazon Ads, Twitch, DSP, Sponsored Ads, Google Ads, Search, YouTube and retail media.
  • Strong understanding of associated data, measurement, AI and cloud capabilities, including AMC, AWS, Google Cloud, Meridian and Ads Data Hub.
  • Broader knowledge of the media and technology landscape across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest, alongside APIs, AI, automation and emerging technologies is beneficial.
  • Experience understanding capability requirements and shaping product strategies into compelling product narratives, clear propositions and commercial pathways at scale.
  • Commercial judgement in developing business cases, commercial models and routes to adoption, scale and commercialisation.
  • Ability to connect partner technologies, product roadmaps and capabilities with client needs and translate them into product propositions, integrations and delivery requirements.
  • Experience building senior relationships across partners, clients and internal stakeholders, and aligning global, local and specialist teams across a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Strategic thinking and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to anticipate market change, explore emerging opportunities and bring structure, clarity and momentum to ambiguity and complexity.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex product, technical and/or commercial subjects clear and compelling.
  • A collaborative, hands-on and opportunity-focused approach, with the tenacity to convert strategic ambition into delivered, adopted and globally impactful activity.

Skills Required
