As a Global Key Account Excellence Manager (m/f/d), you support the development and operational management of global key accounts, with a focus on automotive and industrial customers. You act as a central interface between customers, Röhlig country organizations, operational teams, products, and management, ensuring efficient processes, strong customer satisfaction, and sustainable account performance.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operational management of assigned global key accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and support new business opportunities
- Coordinate rates, tenders, offers, and trade lanes across the global network
- Prepare and manage KPIs, QBRs, customer reporting, and performance analyses
- Ensure accurate data, effective processes, and proper documentation across systems
- Coordinate customer-specific IT, reporting, and operational solutions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between customers, countries, products, and internal teams
- Support customer trainings, webinars, and other account-related activities
- Provide backup support to the respective Global Key Account Manager
What you bring:
- Several years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or operational key account management
- Strong knowledge of sea and air freight operations, including LCL/FCL, trucking, rates, and surcharges
- Experience in global customer coordination and working across international, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, reporting, and system/process management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with digital tools and systems
- Experience with automotive or industrial customers is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally
