The position
You will be part of our new ProdOps Team (Production Operations Team), located in 3 global Hubs (Denmark, China, and Brazil). The team will provide 24/7/365 "Follow the Sun" global support on production critical systems at our Novo Nordisk production sites. You will be located in Ballerup, DK, and provide support during normal Danish Business hours.
One of your key tasks will be to act and take responsibility as Incident Manager. Besides that, role, your tasks would be to:

  • Provide system support to Novo Nordisk Global Production sites
  • Act as backup for our local site support teams
  • Drive Incident management and contribute to Major Incidents
  • Conduct Problem management - proactive incident handling
  • Facilitate knowledge transition between Global deployment team, Central (ProdOps) and Local Support teams
  • Collect and document knowledge in ITSM ServiceNow tool
  • Upgrade and Qualify IT systems in scope
  • Conduct training to our Local support teams
  • Collaborate with Local support teams to identify current and future needs


Qualifications
We are looking for colleagues to Production Operations Team (ProdOps), who can help us drive and support our Operational excellence strategy for our global production sites. Our ProdOps Team has started an exciting journey with a steep learning curve, where you have the opportunity to join the team and impact the future support setup.
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A technical background or an all-round knowledge of IT/OT
  • Experience with specifications, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of system solutions in a regulated industry
  • Experience within IT support is an advantage
  • Experience within manufacturing execution system (MES) PAS-X
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Knowledge about the below mentioned topics is not a requirement, but will be an advantage:
  • ITIL (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
  • Knowledge Management, Knowledge Centred Service (KCS)
  • GxP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Good Documentation Practices (GDP)


On a personal note, you are analytical and possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, enabling you to effectively tackle complex challenges. You excel in collaboration, able to communicate seamlessly with both internal and external stakeholders. In a fast-paced environment, you remain calm, flexible, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
You have a natural curiosity and are motivated to learn about multiple systems, continuously seeking to improve and challenge the status quo by finding innovative ways of working.

Our team provides IT and OT support for critical production systems, specifically for the Ballerup production site. To ensure 24/7 coverage, we operate a "follow the sun" support model, with additional teams located in Brazil and China, allowing seamless support transitions across time zones.
In this role, you will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend work required. The rotation ensures continuous support without the need for extended shifts, as the work is handed over to teams in Brazil and China at the end of each day.
