Company is hiring a Global IT
Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, build, operation, and continuous
improvement of enterprise‑scale
cloud, network, and server environments across hybrid infrastructures. While
the primary environment is Microsoft Azure, candidates with hands‑on experience in any
one major cloud platform — Azure, AWS, or GCP — are welcome. Among these, Azure
experience is the most desirable.
You will collaborate closely with customer
teams and global engineering organizations to ensure stable, secure, and high‑performance
operations. You will be employed by company and assigned onsite to a customer
in Tokyo.
Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
- Design, build, operate, and optimize global
IT infrastructure primarily using Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP experience is
also acceptable, and candidates can transition into Azure).
- Manage hybrid cloud and on‑premises datacenter
integrations including identity, connectivity, and governance.
- Operate and support mid‑scale Azure
environments, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance.
- Incident & Problem Management
- Lead incident response, troubleshooting,
root‑cause
analysis, and service restoration.
Network Operations
- Manage global networks such as VPN, MPLS,
and dedicated lines; address intercontinental routing constraints.
- Security & Risk Management
- Implement and maintain security controls,
monitoring frameworks, and vulnerability assessments.
- Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain run books, operational
procedures, and configuration documentation.
- Cross‑Functional &
Global Collaboration
- Coordinate with customer teams, overseas
engineering groups, and external vendors.
Cost Management
- Optimize infrastructure‑related costs and
support budget awareness for cloud and on‑prem operations.
Technical Innovation
- Research emerging technologies and propose
improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in the
design and implementation of major cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP). Azure
experience is the most desirable.
- Hands‑on experience with at
least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Azure experience is the

Technical Skills
- Knowledge and skills related to major cloud
services (with Azure being the most desirable), including architecture,
governance, and security.
- Knowledge and operational experience in
Windows/Linux administration and hybrid integrations.
- Understanding of global network operations
(VPN/MPLS/dedicated lines).
- Strong troubleshooting, incident response,
and performance tuning capabilities.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native‑level proficiency.
- For non‑native speakers: JLPT
N2 or above is mandatory.
- English: Business‑level for global
communication.
