Job Summary

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive the continued transformation of its enterprise systems, data capabilities, and technology environment across multiple international locations.

The role will partner closely with business and functional leaders to improve the way technology supports manufacturing operations, business visibility, decision-making, and organizational growth.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience in ERP transformation, enterprise data and analytics, multi-site manufacturing environments, and the ability to coordinate and orchestrate distributed teams, technology partners, and complex transformation initiatives across multiple locations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • An advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are preferred.

Requirements

Experience

  • Background leading technology transformation within multi-plant manufacturing environments.
  • Successful work across complex, international or geographically distributed organizations, coordinating internal technology teams, regional resources, and external service providers.
  • Demonstrated leadership in ERP implementation, migration, modernization, or standardization across multiple locations.
  • Leadership in enterprise data and business applications, including data architecture, analytics, business intelligence, system integration, and the development of scalable data capabilities across business functions.
  • Familiarity with operating within or establishing a hub-and-spoke technology model, balancing centralized standards with the needs of individual locations or business units.
  • Strong technology leadership and governance experience, with the ability to prioritize initiatives, coordinate complex resources, establish accountability, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Experience developing or leading technology professionals across enterprise systems, data, infrastructure, or related functions.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders on technology investments, vendor relationships, and budget-related decisions.
  • Fluent English required, with strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with international teams and senior leadership.

Technical Knowledge

  • Enterprise data architecture, data engineering, and end-to-end data integration.
  • Power BI and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable technologies.
  • APIs, ETL/ELT processes, Python, SQL, and data pipeline concepts.
  • ERP systems and enterprise applications; Acumatica experience is preferred.
  • Manufacturing systems, including MES, shop-floor applications, supply chain systems, and operational data environments.
  • Cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and enterprise technology fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology transformation initiatives supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and improved decision-making.
  • Advance ERP modernization and standardization across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Develop a scalable technology operating structure that improves consistency across locations while maintaining appropriate flexibility for local business needs.
  • Coordinate internal technology resources, regional teams, external providers, and technology partners to ensure clear priorities and consistent delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective technology governance across enterprise systems, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and external service providers.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity coverage and technology resilience across multiple locations.
  • Evaluate and optimize external technology providers to improve service quality, consistency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Simplify and modernize infrastructure environments to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Improve technology visibility, reporting, and accountability across key initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce manual processes, improve integration, and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
  • Support automation and digital transformation initiatives that generate measurable operational and financial value.
  • Participate in technology investment planning, vendor evaluation, and budget-related decisions.
  • Strengthen the technology leadership structure by developing internal capabilities across enterprise systems, data, analytics, infrastructure, and digital transformation.

Data & Business Applications Leadership

  • Lead the continued development of the enterprise Data & Business Applications capability, providing direction, prioritization, and technical guidance to the team.
  • Establish data governance, ownership, architecture, and standardized KPI and reporting practices to improve consistency, reliability, and business visibility across the organization.
  • Lead the evolution of the enterprise data platform, integrating ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, shop-floor, and other operational systems into a reliable data foundation for business decision-making.
  • Drive the effective adoption and standardization of business intelligence, modern data platforms, APIs, integration frameworks, and data engineering technologies, reducing siloed systems and spreadsheet-dependent reporting.
  • Ensure data and analytics initiatives deliver practical business value, including improved forecasting, operational and supply chain visibility, and standardized financial and operational performance reporting.
  • Provide functional leadership to Data expertise within the organization, coaching internal resources while maintaining sufficient technical depth to challenge design decisions and ensure solutions remain simple, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
