General Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of IT, the Global IT Analyst serves as a key liaison between Osaka Gas USA, its overseas affiliates, and the headquarters in Japan. This position combines global IT coordination, business analysis, and hands-on IT support to help align technology initiatives with business objectives across the Daigas Group.
Approximately 70% of the role focuses on global IT coordination, business communication, system analysis, and strategic initiatives, while the remaining 30% involves operational IT support and end-user assistance. The successful candidate will help bridge cultural and organizational differences, facilitate communication between U.S. business units and headquarters, and support global IT, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.

Essential Job Functions
- Serve as a liaison between U.S. operations, global headquarters, and international affiliates.
- Support global IT initiatives, business process improvements, and digital transformation projects.
- Analyze business requirements and recommend practical technology solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-cultural communication among business and IT stakeholders.
- Provide operational IT support and assist end users when needed.
- Support initiatives involving Microsoft 365, AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- 5–10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, IT support, system administration, IT analysis, or related disciplines.
- Experience collaborating with both Japanese and U.S. IT organizations, with the ability to understand different organizational cultures, governance models, and decision-making processes.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting global IT initiatives, digital transformation programs, or enterprise IT planning.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, AI technologies, cloud services, or cybersecurity solutions.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, cybersecurity, identity management, enterprise applications, and end-user support.
- Working knowledge of IT operations, incident management, user support, and IT service delivery.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend practical IT solutions while balancing business needs, security, operational efficiency, and cost.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, business users, and technical staff.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as business needs require.
