About the role

The Global Internal Communications Senior Expert is a strategic enterprise partner responsible for crafting internal narratives and driving employee engagement. This individual provides internal comms plans and execution for  large-scale organizational transformations and respective campaigns, and manages highly complex, ambiguous initiatives that align the global workforce with Nubank’s long-term business goals.

You'll be responsible for

Strategic Narrative & Global Business Partnership

  • Enterprise Narrative: Define and evolve the organization’s narratives and content in general, to drive strategic alignment across all regions (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia), and understanding of our company priorities, strategy and performance.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a master consultant for senior executives and Global Business Units (BUs), providing coaching on effective communication strategies for high-stakes business initiatives.
  • Internal/External Alignment: Partner with the Global Corporate Communications leadership to ensure a consistent voice and messaging across all global communication channels, internally and externally.
  • Long-Term Vision: Contribute to the function's long-term vision by building communication solutions that support mid-to-long-term strategic horizons.

Change Management & Problem Solving

  • Large-Scale Transformation: Architect and oversee the execution of communication strategies for complex organizational changes, such as restructures, leadership shifts, or global policy changes.
  • Crisis & Issue Management: Lead internal crisis communication protocols to protect company reputation and guide employees through high-pressure situations.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Uncover root causes of communication gaps affecting multiple business units and develop innovative, scalable solutions to mitigate future risks.

Channel Excellence & Governance

  • Global Standards: Establish global benchmarks for multi-channel content excellence, ensuring that internal platforms (Confluence, Slack, newsletter, digital signage) serve as effective tools for comms of our business objectives.
  • Metric Frameworks: Define and manage global KPIs and OKRs to assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing data-backed reports to senior management.
  • Content Innovation: Oversee the creation of compelling, high-level content, including executive speeches, presentations, and strategic messaging for global town halls and rituals.

Leadership & Influence

  • Stakeholder Strategy: Navigate effectively in a multi-regional environment to influence senior stakeholder engagement and secure support for global internal comms initiatives.
We are looking for a person who has
  • Deep Experience: Extensive track record in corporate or internal communications within a high-growth global technology, consumer or financial services environment.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work effectively across different cultures and business realities is essential.
  • Strategic Acumen: Expert-level ability to leverage business drivers and industry trends to propose data-backed strategic internal comms actions.
