The Global Integrated Planner is entrusted to develop and establish strategic plans that ensure optimal inventory and minimize costs as well as maintain professional relationships with internal and external planning partners. This position is charged with independent decision making that impact demand and supply plans, communicating those decisions to stakeholders, identifying and resolving forecast variances, ensuring the availability of inventory in light of internal and external capacities, and supporting allocation of inventory. This person will be analytical and quantitative in nature and have the ability to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. The role is responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support supply chain planning and operations. The Global Integrated Planner role includes participating in S&OP processes, as well as contributing to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives. This person is a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication and leadership skills. They can quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and can promptly resolve any issues.
What You'll Do

Establish broad knowledge and relationships across different parts of the organization including commercial sales, finance, manufacturing, and others, as needed.

Develop supplier, industry, technology, and manufacturing process understanding to support planning and analysis strategies.

Maintain a deep knowledge of the total planning process including demand planning, supply planning, new product introduction, material planning, and the S&OP process.

Work with business unit leadership to generate a consensus demand plan, assist in development of annual plans and reconcile them with monetized demand plans, and communicate any gaps between the plans. Address input gaps identified by forecast error, bias, and volatility.

Gather and interpret relevant data to determine optimal demand and supply strategies, create and deliver timely integrated plans, investigate challenges, root cause assessments, and recommend solutions.

Evaluate buying patterns for key products and predict how the company should react to product phase in, phase out, warranty, availability, demand shifts, promotions, events and competitive products.

Assess the impact of promotions and events on demand, using what-if analysis to create scenarios and recommendations.

Define and drive an out-of-cycle demand variance realignment process if required.

Work with various cross-functional teams on supply and demand impacts such as new product launches, demand shifts, promotions, end of life, and other events.

Develop and support regular performance and metric reporting for key stakeholders.

Direct supply delivery timing and collaborate on inventory expedite requirements.

Support demand and supply strategies and respond to changing forecasts to maintain inventory targets, improve efficiencies, and maintain/improve forecasted costs.

Independently lead and present S&OP outcomes to the supply chain.

Develop presentations and lead discussions with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 6 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, or related function.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent exeperience.

Proven ability to gather consensus, develop and implement strategic plans that optimize inventory and minimize costs.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis, demand plans, and supply plans.

Possess strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to make autonomous decisions on planning strategies that balance supply and demand effectively.

Proven ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams as well as prepare, present and clearly communicate solutions to both supply chain and commercial audiences.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
