Job Details
Operating within the international tax department, the Compliance Manager helps shape compliance culture and drive, continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams ensuring personnel are aligned with global tax policies and evolving regulations.
Reporting to the Director of Global Indirect Tax, this person will help to set strategic objectives for tax
compliance and monitor execution across all regions.
Initial responsibility for indirect tax compliance submissions until full team is implemented.
Help oversee the development and implementation of tax compliance policies and
procedures.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tax filings and regulatory submissions.
Conduct regular reviews of compliance processes and risk assessments, providing guidance and recommendations.
Monitor legislative changes globally and ensure compliance associates adapt processes accordingly. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to optimise compliance efficiency.
Provide assistance in supporting indirect tax audits ,foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the compliance team.
Champion the introduction and maintenance of digital tools and automation across compliance function.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between compliance team and other departments.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work collaboratively
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Specific Skills
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is desirable.
Experience with technology and automation tools, or willingness to learn (e.g., Alteryx,
Power BI).
Experience
Experience in tax compliance, finance, or accounting within a multinational or complex
regulatory environment.
Demonstrated success in leading compliance teams and managing tax obligations across
multiple jurisdictions.
Experience Strong understanding of tax reporting, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
Experience with audits, tax risk assessment, and financial reporting at a Managery level.
Familiarity with tax technology and automation tools for efficient compliance processes.
