You will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing online marketing strategies and communicating the marketing plans/ROI on a regular basis, while building awareness and positioning for Clearwater’s brand. Your responsibilities will span digital marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, events and sales support with your primary responsibility focusing on developing and maintaining our demand generation engine to support 25%+ bookings growth.

Key Responsibilities 

Global Leadership & Market Execution 

  • Lead Clearwater’s Market Execution & Regional Marketing organization, covering all customer sectors (Insurance, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Owners and Energy) and all geographies (Americas, EMEA, and APAC). 

  • Translate global marketing and business objectives into regional and sector-level go-to-market plans tied to pipeline and revenue goals. 

  • Focus on strategy and execution  ensuring every market touchpoint (events, campaigns, field activities) drives measurable opportunity creation. 

  • Partner closely with Sales and Regional leadership to ensure marketing aligns directly with pipeline acceleration and account-level strategies. 

Regional & Sector Orchestration 

  • Oversee and empower regional and sector marketing leaders to deliver high-impact, locally relevant programs while maintaining global consistency. 

  • Drive alignment on messaging, positioning, and execution standards across regions and sectors. 

  • Integrate client insights and competitive intelligence into planning to inform market prioritization and GTM evolution. 

Pipeline Impact & Commercial Partnership 

  • Own accountability for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline from regional and sector programs. 

  • Partner with Demand Generation on shared pipeline targets and execution rhythms to maximize reach and conversion. 

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on product narratives and enablement materials tailored to each buyer type and region. 

  • Partner with Brand & Communications to extend CWAN’s visibility and storytelling globally. 

Field & Event Strategy 

  • Lead CWAN’s global field and event strategy, including Clearwater Connect, executive dinners, client summits, and industry sponsorships. 

  • Ensure every activation delivers against commercial metrics — opportunity creation, relationship advancement, and brand leadership. 

  • Establish clear performance frameworks for field activity ROI, linking spend directly to business impact. 

Team Leadership & Operations 

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing global team of regional and sector marketing leaders. 

  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence. 

  • Manage global budgets, allocate resources strategically, and drive operational discipline across regions. 

  • Serve as a senior member of the Marketing Leadership Team, contributing to global marketing strategy, planning, and investment priorities. 

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, with deep expertise in global go-to-market and regional execution. 

  • Proven success leading marketing teams that directly impact pipeline and revenue growth. 

  • Strong partnership with Sales and executive stakeholders across multiple geographies. 

  • Experience in financial services is required 

  • Exceptional communication, commercial acumen, and leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. 

 

Success in This Role 

  • CWAN achieves consistent growth in sourced and influenced pipeline across all global regions. 

  • Marketing is recognized by Sales as a trusted, commercial partner that drives opportunity creation and deal velocity. 

  • Seamless integration between product messaging, demand generation, and market execution. 

  • The regional and sector marketing function is known internally for strategic excellence and flawless delivery. 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years related marketing and leadership experience in a high growth, action orientated Capital Markets environment.

  • Deep expertise with leading marketing departments within a B2B, SaaS business.

  • Experience using multi-channel approach to identify, capture and nurture marketing qualified leads through the sales funnel from pre-pipeline all the way through booking.

  • Experience and understanding of both direct and channel sales, with specific experience in high-velocity demand generation.

  • Expert understanding of digital marketing KPIs, metrics, analytics and reporting methods.

  • Strong senior level digital marketing skills with the willingness to be hands on.

  • Thorough understanding of and experience utilizing marketing automation tools and other technology to support the requirements of the demand generation plan.

  • Proven track record of coordinating successful PR campaigns.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or relevant field. MS/MA a plus.

Salary Range

$0.00 - $10,000,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
