About the Role:

Remitly is looking for someone who can combine rigorous statistical analysis with strong business judgment and ownership to help us deliver and build Marketing strategies across our global businesses and enhance overall customer lifetime value. You will lead Marketing Analytics globally. You will be reporting to our VP of Global Analytics. This role can be based in Seattle, Washington or in the Washington DC/ Northern Virginia region.

You Will:

• Be a strategic partner to marketing teams (growth and brand) to deliver on our goals and develop future strategies
• Lead & manage a global distributed team of analysts and data scientists in London and Seattle
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders based in London and Seattle
• Build tools and models in alignment with Remitly's growth strategy
• Deep dive into customer behavior across different customer segments to understand interaction marketing investments and long term customer behavior.
• Work with data scientists and ML teams to build and evolve long term account valuation models.
• Partner with our regional business managers to develop geography-focused strategies.

You Have:

• Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Maths, or a related discipline that blends quantitative and qualitative analysis. Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of analytical experience as you will coach and help your team in solving difficult and interesting problems
• Expert experience in taking complicated analysis and synthesizing the so whats and the actions business needs to take.
• Diverse set of skills ranging from analytics, integrative thinking, communication, team leadership, judgment, business intuition and a bias for action.
• Excellent problem solver, who comes to rigorous and defensible solutions to complex and open-ended problems.
• Highly customer centric, with a strong desire to proactively learn about different customer behaviors and use this learning to create optimized strategies.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $176,000-$220,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
