Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a Global FI Sales Analyst based out of Madrid.

We are looking for a Global FI Sales analyst to join our Corporate & Investment Banking division. The successful candidate will be in charge of covering some of Santander’s bank relationships with the aim to support them in their daily needs in the provision of Cash Management and Trade & Working Capital solutions services, becoming a key support member to an existing and highly motivated diverse sales team.

As an Analyst in our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales managers managing relationships within the banks segment portfolio. This group provides traditional VOSTRO, AutoFX and Trade Finance products to its clients and we require the candidate to support the management of the daily activity of the assigned portfolio as well as the team’s Sales Managers. Our business partners include product specialists from Cash Management, Trade Finance and Risk.

Commercial Origination & Client Engagement

  • Supporting role of a portfolio of banking relationships

  • Support the daily activity of a designated portfolio of banks within the GTB range of financial products and services.

  • Strong learning curve in order to position him/herself as the next Sales Manager.

  • Client service driven

Team Development & Culture

  • Be an integral part of a diverse global team of commercial professionals.

Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Relationship Management support function within the corporate banking world (required)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)

Languages

  • Fluency in Spanish & English (Required)

Soft Skills

  • Client service driven (Required)

  • Communication skills, with the ability to engage global clients (Preferred)
