Fluidra’s looking for a Global Director of Mobile Application to join our team in either Carlsbad, CA or Atlanta, GA.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Global Director of Mobile Applications to lead the strategy, development, and deployment of mobile applications across our global markets. In this critical leadership role, you will manage and grow cross-functional teams, drive collaboration across regions, and oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative mobile applications that empower our customers and accelerate business growth. Additionally, you will:
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our global mobile applications, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and technology partners globally.
- Team management: Lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of product managers, developers, and application specialists across multiple regions, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and scale global teams by recruiting, developing talent, and implementing effective organizational structures to support IoT application initiatives.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the development team has clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- User Experience: Advocate for a user-centric approach, ensuring that the app delivers an exceptional user experience and meets the needs of a diverse global audience.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze app performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimizations.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and incorporate feedback from users, stakeholders, and customer support teams to continuously improve the product.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that the app complies with relevant regulations and security standards across different regions.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, product management, or leadership roles, with at least 5 years focused on mobile applications or platforms
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating scaling global teams, including remote and cross-cultural teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in building high-performing teams, coaching, and developing talent.
- Skills: Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, agile methodologies, and user experience design. Familiarity with the following platforms: Flutter, React Native, Java.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Global Perspective: Experience working with diverse teams and understanding different cultural contexts.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50%

Expected salary range is $185,000 - $220,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
