Openbank is building a new Global Marketing Strategy & Planning team to strengthen how its brand is defined, activated and scaled across markets.
As Global Brand Strategy & Activation Lead, you will create and activate a differentiated global Openbank brand platform, translating the brand promise into clear creative direction, launch toolkits and activation principles that markets can apply consistently and effectively.
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role combining brand strategy, creative judgement and practical market activation.
Mission
Build and activate a differentiated global Openbank brand platform that strengthens awareness, relevance and differentiation across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the Openbank brand positioning, narrative, messaging architecture, creative territories and activation principles.
- Build brand and creative toolkits for priority market launches and relaunches.
- Write high-quality strategic and creative briefs and provide clear direction to agency and in-house teams.
- Review creative work and recommend improvements that strengthen distinctiveness, relevance and effectiveness.
- Translate the global brand platform into practical guidance that enables consistent but locally relevant market activation.
- Connect the brand promise across paid, owned and earned channels, digital journeys, CRM, partnerships, product and customer experience touchpoints.
- Define principles for sponsorships and brand partnerships based on strategic fit, audience relevance and measurable value.
- Partner with market and measurement teams to define brand KPIs and creative-effectiveness requirements.

Professional Experience
- Significant experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing, creative strategy or brand activation.
- Proven experience developing or evolving a brand platform and translating it into campaigns, launch toolkits and market activation.
- Strong brand and creative judgement, with excellent briefing, writing and storytelling skills.
- Good understanding of integrated activation across paid, owned and earned channels.
- Experience working across complex or multi-market organizations and influencing senior stakeholders and agencies.
- A hands-on approach, with the ability to move quickly from strategy to practical, high-quality assets.
