Glaziers are responsible for handling, maintaining and installing all types of glass products for commercial and residential uses and purposes. An overview of the job details is listed below.
- Select, measure, cut, install, and remove all types of glass products for both residential and commercial properties in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
- Train, mentor and oversee metro measure techs
- Safely replace glass in home windows, glass mirrors, and bathtub enclosures in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
- Record all time spent working on jobs.
- Provide quotes to customers regarding repetitive business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have glass cutting and handling experience
- Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures
- Positive customer service orientation
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work well with other team members
