• SQL: Expert-level proficiency in SQL is essential for querying complex databases efficiently. The candidate must be adept at writing optimized queries, creating data models, and performing data manipulation across various relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle. Strong SQL skills enable the analyst to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and support data-driven decision-making.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools, with a focus on Tableau, is critical. The candidate should be capable of designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports that clearly communicate data insights to diverse audiences. Effective visualization skills help transform raw data into intuitive and actionable visual stories.
• Data Storytelling: The ability to craft compelling narratives around data findings is vital.
