We are seeking a highly experienced GIS Technical Advisor / GIS Architect to support the design and implementation of a modern Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) platform. This role will play a critical part in transforming legacy GIS systems into a scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade geospatial solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in GIS, including roles as a GIS Architect or GIS Developer.
- Proven experience in large-scale GIS or SDI implementations, including modernization initiatives.
- Strong expertise in ArcGIS (ESRI) platforms, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with Python and ArcGIS API for Python.
- Experience designing GIS services, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong understanding of geospatial data modeling, metadata standards, and governance.
- Demonstrated experience with data migration, transformation, and validation processes.
- Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments (preferably public sector or large enterprise).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
