Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology
Additional Educational Preferences:
Degree Preferred of MS or a PhD related to infrastructure risk and reliability analysis, materials science, or construction management and project delivery - MBA in general and/or operations management.
Certification(s) Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in leading efforts in consulting, designing, and implementing GIS applications-based solutions, including the following:

  • Participating in the improvement of• business processes,including leveraging GIS application modules;
  • Understanding the common issues facing PwC's clients in the Power and Utilities Sector;
  • Identifying and addressing client needs, actively participating in client discussions and meetings, communicating a broad range of Firm services;
  • Managing engagements, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues;
  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation. answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff, coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;
  • Designing, implementing and supporting business processes in a GIS environment;
  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying GIS - Understanding the GIS Business Solution for Work Management, Asset Management and Supply Chain with a focus on Electric and Gas T&D utilities;
  • Utilizing and applying data conversion, GIS configuration / customization, Integration leverage the GIS Integration Framework, environment management, performance and code management;
  • Building trusted relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services;
  • Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner;
  • Delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
  • Understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building trusted relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; and,
  • Providing guidance and clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff.
