Job Summary
- Drive GIC Sales growth : Achieve an annual sales target through development and execution of strategic sales plans aligned with Home division priorities and providing accurate and detailed sales projections.
- Cultivate and expand crucial customer relationships within 3M channel partners by forming strategic alliances and improving sell-in/sell-out success into these accounts.
- Responsible for account negotiations. Resolves issues and conflicts related to GIC Channel Partners.
- Manages MDF budget and initiates and approves projects to continuously improve efficiency and competitiveness.
- Cross-Functional execution : Collaborate with Home division resources , Marketing , FSRs, AEs to implement a business model that enhances commercial results
- Leading and scaling a high-performing sales team focused on results through setting clear KPIs, implementing coaching, and training the team to achieve objectives
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Has direct responsibility for channel strategic planning, including establishing and managing
- Accountable for the achievement of GIC Sales targets and operating within the sales and general administrative budgets.
- Builds strong relationships with senior management of Channel and leads negotiations of major contracts.
- Accountable for generating the Channel Sales Forecast & Demand Plan.
- Evaluate and develop new channel partners to fill geographic and segment gaps.
- Troubleshoot and work with functional teams to resolve logistical and financial issues.
- Manage Agreements, IAs, Channel Additions, Terminations and Compliance
- Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of ten (10) years work experience with five (5) years of experience overseeing a channel partner or key account management
- Experience working with digital marketing tactics and e-commerce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Marketing experience with promotional program development with and through channel partners
- Strong knowledge and experience with key account management and channel sales/marketing
- Experience working with digital marketing tactics and e-commerce
- Proven experience working with 3M subsidiary management
- Possess broad knowledge of multiple related disciplines. Comprehensive knowledge of 3M’s strategy, business areas, structure and organization, as well as of the external market (competitors, trends, etc.)
