Votre impact 

  • Diriger la stratégie contractuelle de projets hydroélectriques au Québec pendant tout leur cycle de vie. 
  • Protéger la position commerciale de GE Vernova grâce à une gestion rigoureuse des risques, changements, réclamations et obligations.

Vos responsabilités 


Gestion contractuelle de bout en bout 

  • Gérer les aspects contractuels des projets depuis la préparation des offres jusqu’à l’exécution, la clôture et la garantie. 
  • Rédiger, examiner et adapter les clauses commerciales, contrats, avenants et autres ententes selon les besoins du projet et le cadre applicable. 
  • Préparer les avis, demandes de changement, réclamations et autres communications contractuelles dans les délais requis. 
  • Veiller à ce que les équipes de projet comprennent et appliquent les obligations, droits et recours contractuels. 

Stratégie, changements et gestion des risques 

  • Analyser les contrats afin de repérer les risques, possibilités, écarts, hypothèses et points de vigilance. 
  • Élaborer, maintenir et améliorer le plan de gestion contractuelle de chaque projet assigné. 
  • Diriger les stratégies relatives aux changements, réclamations, différends, assurances et mesures d’atténuation en collaboration avec la direction de projet et l’équipe juridique. 
  • Veiller à ce que les exigences pertinentes soient répercutées de façon appropriée dans les contrats des fournisseurs et sous-traitants. 

Collaboration et gouvernance de projet 

  • Collaborer étroitement avec la gestion de projet, le commercial, l’ingénierie, l’approvisionnement, la construction, la mise en service, les finances, le sourçage et les équipes juridiques. 
  • Conseiller les parties prenantes sur les enjeux contractuels et contribuer aux revues de risques et possibilités. 
  • Assurer le suivi des engagements, jalons et événements contractuels et fournir des évaluations régulières des risques. 
  • Maintenir des relations professionnelles constructives avec les clients, partenaires, fournisseurs et sous-traitants. 

Conformité et contrôle documentaire 

  • Maintenir des dossiers contractuels complets, traçables et conformes aux exigences de gouvernance et de preuve. 
  • Gérer et analyser la correspondance entrante et sortante et assurer un archivage fiable des décisions clés. 
  • Établir et maintenir des procédures et outils de suivi pour les avis, assurances, retards, variations, réclamations et obligations. 
  • Coordonner les réclamations majeures avec l’équipe juridique et recommander des solutions aux enjeux contractuels et commerciaux complexes. 

Qualifications requises 

  • Diplôme universitaire en génie, droit, commerce, finance ou dans un domaine technique connexe. 
  • Au moins sept ans d’expérience démontrée en gestion contractuelle dans des environnements de projets complexes, notamment l’énergie, l’ingénierie-approvisionnement-construction (EPC), la construction ou les infrastructures. 
  • Expérience de la rédaction, de la structuration et de la négociation d’avenants, de changements et de réclamations complexes et de grande valeur. 
  • Bonne compréhension des facteurs financiers des projets, notamment les coûts, marges, risques, possibilités et incidences sur la trésorerie. 
  • Excellente maîtrise du français, à l’oral et à l’écrit, ainsi que capacité à travailler en anglais avec des équipes mondiales et des partenaires internationaux. 

Qualifications souhaitées

About the Role 


Help deliver major hydropower projects in Quebec by leading contract strategy across the full project lifecycle. As part of GE Vernova Hydro Power’s North America Contract Management team, you will serve as a commercial and contractual partner to project teams from bidding and negotiation through execution, close-out, and warranty. 


You will manage changes, deviations, claims, disputes, and insurance matters while protecting GE Vernova’s commercial interests and maintaining constructive relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors. The role primarily supports projects and framework agreements serving the Quebec market. 


Your Impact 

  • Lead contract strategy for hydropower projects in Quebec throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Protect GE Vernova’s commercial position through disciplined management of risks, changes, claims, and obligations.

  • Strengthen compliance, traceability, and contract discipline in a complex matrix organization. 

What You Will Do 


End-to-End Contract Management 

  • Manage contractual activities from bid preparation through execution, close-out, and warranty. 
  • Draft, review, and tailor commercial clauses, contracts, amendments, and other agreements to project needs and the applicable framework. 
  • Prepare notices, change requests, claims, and other contractual communications within required timelines. 
  • Ensure project teams understand and apply contractual obligations, rights, and remedies. 

Contract Strategy, Change, and Risk Management 

  • Analyze contracts to identify risks, opportunities, deviations, assumptions, and key watchpoints. 
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the contract management plan for each assigned project. 
  • Lead strategies for changes, claims, disputes, insurance matters, and mitigation actions with project leadership and Legal. 
  • Ensure relevant requirements are appropriately flowed down into supplier and subcontractor agreements. 

Stakeholder Collaboration and Project Governance 

  • Partner with project management, commercial, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, finance, sourcing, and Legal teams. 
  • Advise stakeholders on contractual matters and contribute to project risk and opportunity reviews. 
  • Track commitments, milestones, and contractual events and provide regular contractual risk assessments. 
  • Maintain constructive professional relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors. 

Contract Compliance and Documentation Control 

  • Maintain complete and traceable contractual records that meet governance and evidentiary requirements. 
  • Manage and analyze incoming and outgoing correspondence and preserve a reliable record of key decisions. 
  • Establish and maintain procedures and tracking tools for notices, insurance, delays, variations, claims, and obligations. 
  • Coordinate major claims with Legal and recommend solutions to complex contractual and commercial issues. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Business, Finance, or a related technical field. 
  • At least seven years of demonstrated contract management experience in complex project environments such as energy, engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), construction, or infrastructure.

Compensation and Pay Transparency 


For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $126,300 and $189,500 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. 


Bonus eligibility: Discretionary annual bonus.
