Compensation & Benefits$21.00 - $25.00 per hour (final compensation is based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, certifications, and overall qualifications).
What You'll DoAs a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will:
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care while preserving resident dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team
- Support residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Assist with transfers and ambulation using safe resident handling techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment through meaningful resident interactions
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in senior living, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach
- Ability to work flexible PRN schedules, including any shift as needed
- Ability to read and speak English
