POSITION: GEOTECHNICAL ANALYST
HOURS: FULL TIME

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Acts as a Geosteering Geologist by collecting data to find the optimal placement for oil drilling equipment for clients.
- Monitoring drilling in real-time and providing input into the direction of the borehole.
- Communicating with client and other members of the drilling team
- Optimizing drilling parameters
- Introduce ROGII products worldwide to customers, including resistivity support.
- Supervise and provide pre-well activities overseas (Conventional and Unconventional wells)
- Delivering Geosteering services and monitoring lateral wells
- Azimuthal Resistivity SME, and Stochastic Inversions interpretations
- SME Testing software and reporting to enhance software features.
- Technical support for clients (phone, email, web portal), including evenings and weekends
- Technical presentations to clients (online and in-person)
- Onsite support and training for clients and staff
- Attending and presenting at exhibitions and conferences
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering or Related. Foreign equivalent degree accepted. 2 years’ experience as a Drilling Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer or related. Rig Pass Basic Safety Orientation Certificate, and Directional Drilling and Geosteering skills required.
JOB LOCATION: Houston, TX. Telecommuting Permitted
TRAVEL: Occasional Domestic and International travel approximately 2 times a quarter.
