The individual in this role will be responsible for creating, scheduling, orchestrating, and managing cloud infrastructure services. They should actively look for opportunities to reuse existing processes and services to enhance the efficiency of support and implementation for key systems. Embracing and promoting a DevOps culture is essential, and they should integrate it into daily organizational activities.
Competency Summary
Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of projects from the DevOps roadmap. This includes configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments, creating AWS CloudFormation Templates for quick and reliable provisioning of services. They should be able to manage and provision serverless services on AWS.
Creating Azure Bicep or ARM Templates for development of resources through CI/CD. They should be able to manage and provision serverless services on Azure. One should be good with Github actions as well which is primarily used for building the deployment workflows.
Cloud engineers work closely with Platform Architects and Data Scientists. They also work with business and IT groups beyond the application sphere, understanding the enterprise infrastructure and the many source systems. They should be able to provide guidance into the DevOps toolchain, lifecycle, improvement, and standardization strategies.
Key Objectives/Deliverables

Extensive Azure Experience in AI Search, Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management, Access Control with RBACs and Networking concepts etc in Azure environment.

Experience operating and managing search and analytics engines like Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and OpenSearch

Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and ensure the scalability of search solutions.

Work on various aspects of information retrieval, including indexing, querying, and relevance ranking.

Integrate search solutions with various data sources and databases.
-
Design and implement APIs for accessing search functionalities.
-
Be responsible for all instance provisioning, monitoring usage and reporting.

Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
-
Position appropriate technical solutions within the enterprise, streamlining our portfolio of modern tools to align with the company’s IT strategy, ecosystem and bring in industry standards and methodologies.

Work in Agile Sprints with business facing project teams.
Minimum Position Qualifications

3-5 year’s hands-on experience with Azure services, Azure Bicep, CI/CD with Github Actions, Azure DevOps, databases and related technologies.

Strong Hands-on experience in built/deploy of end-to-end project.

Advanced administration experience with Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos Db and SQL Servers and provisioned on Virtual Machines instances.

Experience in provisioning and maintaining Ai Search

Oversees and provides technical direction in design, install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, test, monitor, and analyze the performance of the Azure Services

Provide detailed usage, storage, and system performance to management.
