What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
$65,000 - $79,900 annual (Salaried Grade 8)
General Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation activities.
- Support employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective action processes.
- Administer attendance management, disability claims, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems (Dayforce), and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Support compensation, benefits, payroll-related activities, and employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point;
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization;

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field (required).
- 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following areas:
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Employee relations
- Performance management
- Policy administration
- Training and development
- Attendance management
- Health and safety initiatives
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members, employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset
