Fam is India's first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.
Founded in 2019 by IIT Roorkee alumni, Fam is backed by some of the most respected investors around the world like Elevation Capital, Y-Combinator, Peak XV (Sequoia Capital) India, Venture Highway, Global Founder’s Capital and the likes of Kunal Shah, Amrish Rao as angel investors.
About this role
If you've ever wanted to build a business from the ground up, this is your chance to do it.
As a general manager at Fam - You’ll work directly with the founder, shaping strategy and driving execution from day one. With access to an existing user base of over 10 million and a strong internal product and growth engine, you’ll have the platform and support needed to scale fast.

On the Job
- Own strategy, growth, partnerships, product thinking, and monetization for the new business line
- Work closely with founding team to define vision, structure, and business goals
- Build and lead a cross-functional team across partnerships, ops, marketing, and analytics
- Collaborate with product and design to shape the user experience for the new business
- Develop go-to-market plans, manage budgets, and own business P&L
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)
- 8+ years of experience in business, product or growth
- Proven track record of launching or scaling business units or verticals
- Experience working in or with consumer tech startups in India
- Strong strategic thinking with an ability to get into execution mode
Good to have
- Have been a startup founder/ CEO in the past
- Experience working in brands who have GenZ as audience
- Background in e-commerce, or rewards platforms
- Experience hiring and managing cross-functional teams
