Responsibilities

 

The General Manager will join Profound in its early stages and will

be responsible for establishing and growing the company’s presence in Munster, IN, with direct oversight of Kansas City, MO network as well.

This person will have the opportunity to scale into an executive role as their responsibilities expand in conjunction with the company’s growth into new markets. As General Manager, this person should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional people and organizational leadership capabilities, and experience setting up and growing successful clinical trial sites.

The General Manager will serve as a strategic partner to other company leaders in driving growth and will be responsible for managing relationships with sponsors, CROs, and providers. This individual will need a deep understanding of the clinical research industry and a proven ability to set and achieve company KPIs. This hire will be crucial to the success of Profound and instrumental in the initial growth and strategy of the company.

 

Responsibilities

 

· Develop full suite operating capabilities, including decisions to build the infrastructure for new clinical trial sites and robust processes for vendor selection and vendor management across all domains of core business operations

 

· Manage site setup as well as ongoing day to day operations of the clinical sites such as regulatory and compliance activities, patient recruitment, and data collection

 

· Drive methodology and discipline of people processes and technology that establishes the rigor necessary to achieve financial, strategic, and operational objectives

 

· Lead and manage a high- performing, large, distributed workforce that supports both the providers and sponsor’s needs; develop operations that yields best-in-class experience for patients and optimizes results

 

· Set the strategic vision and develop a blueprint for the company’s scalability, expansion, and growth in the years ahead

 

· Form deep, consultative relationships with Sponsors to support the commercial team in identifying, generating, and closing new business

 

· Effectively articulate Profound’s value proposition to establish credibility in the market, drive trust and engagement from providers, and position the clinical trial sites to operate efficiently

Requirements

 

· Demonstrate radical candor and is comfortable working within an often ambiguous, extremely high growth environment

 

· Previous experiences working with clinical trials sites with an in depth understanding of regulatory and quality requirements, recruiting patients, and data collection and optimization

 

· Deep understanding of the life sciences industry, particularly as it relates to the complexities and intricacies of clinical trials to make accurate decisions around infrastructure, risk and compliance, and anticipating and preventing operational pain point

 

· A strong leader with credibility, gravitas, and willingness to roll up their sleeves to drive company growth; ability to operationalize a concept into a viable business by executing on strategic vision

 

· Success in leveraging the relationships with anchor partners to establish credibility, grow the company’s customer base, and analyze and improve operations

 

· Natural team builder and collaborator; eager to work cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve organizational synergy

 

· Charismatic, executive-level presence with the ability to establish relationships with key influencers and decision makers

 

· Located in Munster, Indiana, open to relocation, or frequent travel to Munster, IN

 

Travel Requirements

 

· Up to 20% travel 

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing and walking.

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

· Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

· Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

· Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.

· The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
