Job Summary
Performs all general ledger functions for designated developments, following appropriate procedures to ensure timely and accurate preparation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains general ledger records according to company policies and procedures.
- Prepares month-end financial reports for assigned developments to meet necessary deadlines.
- Maintains all security deposits and savings accounts to insure development funding; reports any bank account problems to the General Ledger Supervisor.
- Assists auditors with annual audit preparation for all developments assigned.
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets for all developments assigned by working closely with the Operation team, and Owners/Clients, as deemed necessary.
- Prepare and complete replacement reserve requests within the required time frame.
- Complete bank reconciliation and enter rental deposits in the system.
- Performs routine clerical duties, in photocopying and filing in a timely manner.
- Understanding of accounting & management software.
