IDS International is seeking a General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Specialist to support the “Total Maintenance Contract for the Kaiserslautern Military Community.” The GFEBS Specialist is responsible for ordering and receiving site construction materials and maintaining accountability of all received materials. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Provides accounting, finance and clerical support.
- Establishes and maintains department files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Follows established guidelines in performing routine day-to-day tasks.
- Reviews transactions to various ledgers, journals and registers.
- Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.
- Reviews accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness, verifies against appropriate documentation and forwards for processing.
- Inputs data into computer for tracking, manipulation and reporting purposes.
- Compiles and prepares specialized reports.
- Researches accounting records to assist in the identification and resolution of problems or inadequacies of accounting information.
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or Foreign Country Equivalent.
- Documented three (3) years of experience in the SAP environment as BI Analyst, creating a large set of organization data, fast business process reports, analyzing the various data (customer, suppliers, invoices, equipment, etc.) and internal activities.
- Advanced level with MS Office systems, with emphasis on Excel data analysis.
Language Requirements:
- English and German at level 4 proficiency: At this level an employee is required to possess a high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English, including the ability to translate the host country language into precise and correct English, and English into the applicable foreign language. On occasion, an employee at this level might be expected to act as an interpreter in situations where considerable importance attaches to proper word meaning.
Computer Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
