General Engineer 2
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, assists in the installation, maintenance and repairs of the plumbing, sanitary, steam, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems and carpentry for the hospital and associated properties.
Education:
Certificate in general or special maintenance trade course, certificate in engineering trade course, or equivalent experience is required.
Basic Boiler Operations (6th class NAPE or equivalent) course to be obtained within six months.
Experience:
Two years of experience as a General Mechanic or a General Engineer is required.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
