The Role

We are seeking an experienced General Contractor to oversee the construction, remodels, and closeouts of our 100+ retail locations throughout North America. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in general construction and a contractor's license for the state of CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects for all company locations
  • Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure all construction projects meet local building codes and regulations
  • Manage the remodeling and closeout of existing locations
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance plans to ensure all locations are kept in good condition
  • Work with the management team to identify and prioritize facility needs
  • Manage the facility budget and ensure all expenses are in line with company expectations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure facility projects align with company goals

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in general construction
  • Contractor's license for the state of CA
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Experience managing facility budgets and expenses
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, MCO includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $120,000 per year to $130,000 per year.
