- Brings A block, enterprise pitches to the table every day.
- Knows what's going on in the market and the world at large, online and IRL.
- Tells a great story on any platform. From live breaking news to a quick VOSOT, social post, web piece or in-depth interview.
- Understands news is 24 hour a day business requiring nights, weekends and holidays.
- Develops sources and relationships in the community, local government, law enforcement and industry.
- Understands the fundamental importance of journalistic ethics, objectivity and public trust.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 4 years on-air reporting experience in a commercial newsroom.
- Comfortable with strict deadlines.
- Understands why he/she has two ears and one mouth.
- Desire to grow as a reporter and storyteller.
- Comfortable with challenging feedback.
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or a related field.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $43.27 to $53.45. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
Skills Required
