The Global Business Finance Services Accountant is responsible for various financial tasks related to statutory accounting, audit compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial information and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with the finance team and other stakeholders to support our financial operations on a regional scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and reports to auditors.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Prepare accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze financial data, provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and analyze budget submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a nice to have
Minimum 4 years of experience in statutory accounting, audit compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required for this position
