About This Role:
At Crusoe, we're revolutionizing cloud computing by harnessing stranded energy resources to deliver high-performance AI solutions. As the Gas Origination Manager, you will play a critical role in securing and managing the natural gas supply for our power generation projects, a key component in powering our innovative data centers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the natural gas industry. You possess exceptional negotiation skills and a deep knowledge of gas supply agreements, transportation, and market dynamics. What You'll Be Working On:

Strategic Gas Supply Development: Develop and execute comprehensive gas supply strategies to support Crusoe's growing energy needs.

Contract Negotiation and Execution: Negotiate and execute complex gas supply agreements with producers, gatherers, and transporters.

Gas Supply Management: Manage gas nominations and transportation activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of gas to power generation sites.

Market Analysis and Risk Mitigation: Conduct market analysis and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges in the gas supply chain.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.

Process Improvement: Continuously improve gas procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Innovation in Natural Gas Sourcing: Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for sourcing and utilizing natural gas in support of Crusoe's sustainability goals.
What You'll Bring to the Team:

Bachelor of Engineering and/or Master of Business Administration Degrees

Proven experience in negotiating and executing gas supply agreements.

In-depth knowledge of natural gas markets, pricing, and transportation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points:

Experience with pipeline right-of-way acquisition processes.

10+ years of professional experience in the natural gas industry.

Knowledge of pipeline operations, including sizing and pressure ratings.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $140,000 - $155,000/year. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
