Cut & Sew is the only production technique where we develop and manufacture products entirely in-house, from sourcing materials to sewing the final product. Our core team includes a Garment Constructor, Technologist, and Product development specialist. However,  we work closely with other teams daily, including Product Category Management, Technical File Specialists, Visuals, Sourcing, Purchasing and Inventory Management, Operations, Research & Development, and more. This collaboration ensures seamless execution and high-quality results across all stages of production.

Your daily tasks will entail:

• Product development (including size grading) in the provided garment construction software

• Participating in product fittings and taking responsibility for  construction changes to meet product quality and fit requirements 

• Improving existing products based on customer or in-house team feedback

• Using  pattern layout software to optimize fabric usage during production

• Preparing pattern files, care labels, and other supporting materials for the Technical File Specialist and care label and other supporting material preparation for production

• Collaborating with the Technologist and sewing department to provide fool-proof manufacturing solutions, such as specific notch placements, markings, etc.

• Preparing product measurements,  documentation, and product pricing calculations in collaboration with the Technologist  

• Documenting workflows and processes based on needs or requests

• Maintaining and updating work files according to requirements

• Participating in meetings and preparing weekly reports for the direct manager

Below is a list of formal requirements, but you’re in the right place if you’re responsible, detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn. Since we’re an international team, our Garment Constructor needs to have strong English skills as well.

What we expect from you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Garment construction (mandatory)

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Advanced experience with 2D garment construction software, basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, and familiarity with 3D garment construction software and pattern layout software (considered an advantage)

• Experience working with Google Workspace—Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, etc.

• Proficiency in working with project management software

• Experience working with other management tools used for HR-related questions and task management
