The Operations Coordinator supports a working leader (Associate Director, Operations) within the Market Access Gap Closure Program by coordinating, executing, and communicating cross-functional initiatives that directly impact client experience and operational outcomes.

This role functions as a project-management-style partner—serving as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, driving clear communication, maintaining rigorous documentation, and ensuring initiatives progress on time and with precision. Success in this role requires strong written and verbal communication, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

The position is designed as a developmental opportunity for individuals seeking growth into an Operations Manager role through hands-on exposure to program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational decision-making.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support planning, execution, and tracking of Gap Closure Program initiatives in close partnership with internal teams and external clients, serving as a primary point of contact for day-to-day coordination and status communication.

  • Own end-to-end coordination of deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives, ensuring clear expectations, documented decisions, and timely follow-through.

  • Lead written and verbal communications related to program execution, including client-facing updates, meeting materials, status reports, and follow-up documentation with a high standard of clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.

  • Demonstrate increasing ownership of defined workstreams or initiatives, including facilitating meetings, managing action items, and driving execution as experience grows.

  • Maintain comprehensive operational documentation and tracking to ensure data integrity, visibility, and audit readiness.

  • Monitor performance metrics and project progress; synthesize complex information into clear summaries, insights, and recommendations for both internal leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Identify process gaps, data discrepancies, and execution risks; proactively communicate impacts, escalate when appropriate, and recommend actionable solutions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Revenue Cycle, IT, Customer Experience, and external partners to support order execution, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

  • Support change management initiatives by documenting new workflows, communicating changes clearly, and reinforcing adoption with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Balance speed, accuracy, and competing priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where attention to detail is critical.

  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, teamwork, and an inclusion-focused mindset.

  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or computer and perform typing for the majority of the workday.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of working time, including occasional overnight or weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or field related to job duties; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelors degree.
  • 2+ years of operational or other related experience.
  • Expertise in Excel, including use of pivot table function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full or part-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.

  • Experience in healthcare, payer operations, or regulated environments.

  • Exposure to project management methodologies, operational reporting, or process improvement initiatives.
