The commercial manager is an essential role that will help support the overall performance of the Commercial team. The Commercial manager will be a strong advocate for clear communication and processes between Central teams, territory teams and stakeholders both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will understand how strong supplier relationships can drive commercial performance while sound communication, operational processes and excellence help drive growth.
We're looking for someone who:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial management or business development within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of managing commercial strategies and partnerships in the gaming sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Deep understanding of the gaming market trends, customer behaviors, and monetization models.
- Proficient in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and communities.
- Flexibility for occasional travel, as required to manage partnerships and attend industry events.
What you'll be doing?
- Work closely with the Head of Commercial to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Manage a team to execute the Gaming Commercial Strategy across performance, operations, and marketing.
- Monitor casino performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize supplier relationships.
- Leverage supplier discounts for key events (e.g., Christmas, New Year, Halloween) to improve commercial performance.
- Work with territory teams on promotional strategies and ensure alignment with internal teams.
- Deliver the gaming content strategy based on performance and market needs.
- Attend industry conferences to build supplier relationships and review performance.
- Identify new suppliers and negotiate competitive contracts with the Head of Commercial.
- Collaborate with product teams on user journeys, new supplier integration, and market-specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, AML, KYC, and licensing requirements.
- Support accurate invoicing and smooth supplier onboarding with the Commercial Analyst.
- Align contract management with business priorities and negotiate terms where necessary.
