We are ARVORE, a startup in the virtual reality content creation scene.
Based out of Los Angeles and São Paulo, our studio creates, designs, produces and develops world-class interactive experiences and games for all current and future high-end immersive platforms, including virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality.
ARVORE is looking to hire a technically adept, creative individual to complement our team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative immersive and narrative-driven XR experiences, iterating and prototyping with a high level of creative freedom and with the opportunity to guide the direction of some of these endeavours.

JOB DESCRIPTION
They must continually test our products, bring accurate insight into the user experience back to the team, and work closely with the team to elevate the quality of our products.
MAIN TRANS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Repeatedly perform path and exploratory testing
- Attention to detail, to find problems or be able to reproduce them as consistently as possible
- Clear communication to exchange ideas about possible causes and solutions with the development team
- Organize and create test cases, checklists, and regression tests, proactively find new ways to discover problems before users do, and keep old problems at bay
- Carry out tests based on checklists, documenting all bugs through a database.
- Help the team raise quality through multiple prototypes to the final product, reporting appropriate issues at each stage, and helping to keep the product consistent at each stage
- Guide user testing, conduct interviews and surveys to find the root causes of technical or usability problems
MUST HAVE:
- Being able to use VR for hours with no (or minimal) illness or adverse effects
- Basic experience playing video games for long periods of time
- Be able to communicate in English (reading, writing and speaking)
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of good accessibility practices for inclusion in the testing routine
- Some experience helping online gamers (being a member of a community or some type of customer support)
- Some knowledge of agile methodologies
- Familiarize yourself with Google G Suite, Monday, Slack and Github.
- Previous knowledge or experience with VR and AR content is preferred.
- A passion for games, film, TV, art, animation, electronics, RPGs, theater and narrative
experiences would be a huge plus. - Experience with game development.
