The Athletic Equipment Room is seeking motivated and reliable student employees to assist with the daily operations and management of athletic equipment. This role is ideal for students interested in gaining experience in sports management, operations, or a related field. The student employee will work closely with the Athletic Equipment Manager and other staff to ensure that all athletic gear is organized, maintained, and distributed efficiently.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
This is a year-round opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Distribution & Collection:
- Issue and collect athletic equipment, uniforms, and gear to/from athletes and coaches.
- Track and record equipment issuance and return using inventory management systems.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of all equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any shortages or damages.
- Help in organizing and storing equipment in designated areas.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Clean, repair, and maintain athletic equipment and uniforms to ensure they are in good condition.
- Assist in the inspection of equipment for safety compliance and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Laundry Services:
- Operate laundry machines to clean uniforms, towels, and other athletic gear.
- Sort, fold, and distribute clean laundry to appropriate teams and staff.
- Event Support:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for practices, games, and events.
- Provide on-site support during athletic events as needed, including managing equipment logistics.
